About Me and My Page

Greetings from Longhorsley Northumberland and welcome to my Home Page. I have traced my family roots back to Roxburghshire Scotland in the early 17th century and I have details of several hundred other Ricalton's. I am also an avid collector of old photographs (both people and places) of Longhorsley. I have also many old documents relating to the village. We have recently formed a Local History Society to help preserve and add to them. I have held an Amateur Radio licence since 1971 and still retain it although I am no longer active. I now concentrate my available time on Local and Family History.
